Siren comes bounding down the stairs fixing BEN with a glare.
“Yes please refrain ghost.” She hisses at him blushing. Was she that obvious? She gulped sitting on the couch and stretched out her legs. She gazed at her legs in different positions with a scowl, seeing cuts and bruises.
Siren thought to herself. Feeling his gaze she looked up and blushed. Wringing her hands nervously she stood up. “Im going to take a walk.” She said stretching. She left a hidden invitation. But she did not wait to hear an answer
Toby knew following her would be the best idea. Besides, he thought getting out, taking a breather, would be good for him, too. He got up and took the house key off the rack by the door as he left.
By the time Toby had gotten outside Siren was up a tree sitting her black wings drooping down from her back. Siren grinned up at the moon as her fingers danced upon the thick branch. Her thoughts were finally blank.
He sat down beside the tree, sighing deeply, staring out at the forest blackness. It reminded him of the call; of the first time he’d seen his master.
Siren humms louder as she flips so she is hanging onto the tree by her leggs, and looking at toby her hair falling into his lap as their eyes are level.
"I have a question" she asks her wings sucked into her back as she watches his face
He looked into her eyes behind his tinted goggles, giving a slight twitch. “Yeah? What is it?”
"Why…are you so attached to Slender? how did you get here?" she asks getting down from the tree to sit in front of him. she wonders fleetingly on BENS wherabouts and how she should apolagize, but she listens intently for his answer.
(THank chu :) )
He leaned against the trunk of the tree once more, looking up towards the harvest moon in the sky. “Well, when I was a boy, before becoming a proxy for my master, I was a normal kid. Sure, I had my Tourette’s, and my inability to feel pain, and I was picked on, but what kid wasn’t? It was after my sister died that my abusive father got worse…I remember, one night, I started to feel light headed. And there was a figure under the streetlight outside my window.”
He paused, remembering the horrid hallucinations. “I’m pretty sure I just passed out that time. The other time came with…awful nightmare visions…So, I killed my father with a hatchet, and set fire to the street I lived on to escape. Master was that figure. He’d given me the courage somehow…
"He took me in, kept me safe, cared for me. Like no one has since my sister died…"
Siren sniffs her eyes watering.
"I know you dont want it…but i feel so bad for you. An abusive father…I can’t…" She sniffs and hugs him again.
